It’s been a while since our last sparkle update, and while the shop has been wonderfully busy behind the scenes, we’ve missed sharing the stories, styling inspiration, and jewellery moments we love.
Behind the scenes at Donna Laine
Unfortunately, Donna has been struggling with several major health issues; shingles and a double hip replacement is not for the faint of heart. Donna, however, has been her own heroine and has continued to fight against such worrying illnesses to make sure you, as her customers, are her main focus. However, because of her absence, the shop has been slightly slower than usual. We sincerely apologise for any disruptions this has caused our customers, and as a family-run business you are and will always be our main priority.
Despite this, Donna is back and thus Donna Laine is ready and raring to kick-start the summer with a shimmer and shine.

Lashes, the Ladies’ Charity Lunch! Lashes is a well-respected and committed fundraiser for The Hampshire Cricket Foundation which supports life-changing projects in our local community. The Hampshire Cricket Foundation supports thousands of young people through sport, education and community projects in some of the region’s most disadvantaged areas. Donna Laine has been a continual donator to Lashes for many years and has been dedicated to supporting such a worthy cause. Therefore, in May, Donna and the team attended the annual Ladies Luncheon where she donated ‘a 2 Carat Diamond Necklace’ worth over £5000.
